Turner was an industry leader in Asia's commercial real estate sector for 15+ years, building mixed-use developments, over 17 large-scale shopping malls, and retail precincts, and with firms and investors such as Morgan Stanley, Warburg Pincus, Cushman & Wakefield, Lendlease, and with luxury brands such as Hermès, Ralph Lauren and Prada. Turner's Asia career culminated in the role as Head of Commercial Development for LendLease China and subsequently in Singapore, managing the design, development, and leasing of the retail and public realm components of Paya Lebar Quarter, LendLease's pioneering and multiple award-winning mixed-use precinct.
Turner grew up in Vail, Colorado, and spent his youth ski racing at the international level, competing in national youth Rodeo and as a championship goalie in hockey. He holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a B.A. in Chinese and Communication from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Helen brings a diverse and unique set of skills and approach to Placemaking and, prior to relocating to the United States, owned and managed PÜRA Bolivia Coffee Shop in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
Helen is originally from Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and spent over 15 years in Asia (Shanghai/Beijing/Singapore), primarily in the sourcing and outsourcing industry, online retailing and marketing, and the diplomatic sector as the First Secretary of the Bolivian Embassy in Beijing.
Having started and managed multiple online marketing and retailing ventures, she is well versed in the use of traditional and social media marketing and strategies and has applied these skills to a variety of industries and projects, such as during her time as the Asian representative of the world-renowned artist Mammani Mammani - arguably Bolivia’s most famous and successful artist - in Singapore as co-founder of LatinaChic - an online platform for promoting and selling Latino inspired clothing and accessories manufactured in Latin America – Orchidhua - an online sourcing and logistics firm serving the South American markets primarily - and Velvet Solutions - engaged in entrepreneurial marketing orientation, guidance and event organization/promotion for small/independent companies in Singapore and the APAC region.
Helen holds a B.S. in Science from Benedictine College and studied Chinese at the Shanghai Foreign Language School in Shanghai, China.
